SMOKY LEAGUE SUB LIST
The Smoky Mountain Hockey League Sub List allows additional players the opportunity to participate in league games when rostered players are unable to attend. Players who join the sub list may be contacted to fill open spots on game nights, helping teams maintain full benches and a competitive game environment. Substitutes are selected based on availability and appropriate skill level to ensure balanced play across the league.
Games take place Tuesday or Wednesday nights at 9:15 PM at the Knoxville Ice Chalet. Being on the sub list does not guarantee placement in games, but it provides a great opportunity for players to get on the ice, stay active during the season, and be part of the Smoky Mountain adult hockey community when openings arise.

The Smoky Mountain Hockey League Sub List is available for players who want to participate when roster spots open due to player absences. Players on the Sub List may be contacted to fill in for scheduled league games when a registered player cannot attend. Substitutes must be approved by league staff to maintain balanced competition and appropriate skill levels. Placement from the Sub List is not guaranteed, but it provides an opportunity to skate in league games and stay active with the Smoky Mountain Hockey community throughout the season.
