Rules

The 4v4 Adult League features fast-paced, no-check hockey with four skaters per team. Icings & Offsides are in effect for the winter season. Games that end in a tie go directly to a shootout to determine the winner. All penalties result in an immediate penalty shot instead of a standard power play.

2026 - 2027 Jerseys

Returning Smoky Mountain Hockey League players do not need to purchase new jerseys as long as they have both their official dark and light league jerseys from previous seasons. Players should ensure their jerseys are in good condition and available for all games.

New league members are required to purchase a Smoky Mountain Hockey League jersey package during registration. League jerseys help maintain consistency across teams and ensure all players have both dark and light options available throughout the season.

WINTER LEAGUE 2026 - 2027

The Smoky Mountain Winter 4v4 Adult League is built for players looking for a fast-paced, competitive, and enjoyable hockey experience throughout the winter season. The 4v4 format creates more open ice, increased puck touches, and nonstop action, allowing players to stay involved in every shift while continuing to develop their skills. Whether you're a seasoned player or newer to the game, this league provides a great balance of competition, exercise, and camaraderie. Games are played in a structured environment with officials, scorekeeping, and balanced teams, making it the perfect way to stay on the ice, compete with fellow hockey enthusiasts, and enjoy the game all winter long.
